A summer full of reading!

Indiebookstores.ca in collaboration with Penguin Random House are helping you plan your summer reading, with a contest! Your Summer is Booked , a contest, running from July 1 to August 31 gives you a chance to win an incredible prize – a year of paperbacks from Penguin Random House Canada (all 25 books, worth over $725). It's easy, purchase any of the 25 eligible paperback titles from your favourite Canadian independent bookstores and fill out the entry form on IndieBookstores.ca

Books must be purchased from a Canadian independent bookstore between
July 1 to August 31, 2025 to be eligible.

Monthly Book Club

Each month a new book is selected based on your votes. The book selected can be purchased by me. Just leave your name and phone number so I can call you for pickup.

We read a variety of books, there is no specific theme or subject matter. Have a suggestion? Send me a message or pop into the store to let me know.

This club is very easy going, throughout the month we discuss chapter by chapter in Fable, and then at the end of the month we'll meet in-store - after hours to discuss what we read. An open discussion for about an hour and then there's time to socialize and meet others in the club. Can't make it? No problem, come if you're able.
