The Anguish of the Omni

After a near-deadly confrontation with Matron, Althea flees in search of a new sanctuary in Larcia. Believing that family may await her at the end of her journey, she will be forced to confront a new kind of cruelty after learning darkness is not constrained to the walls of the Faith of the Four Spirits Monastery.

Caleb is eager to leave Althea behind, but when her reappearance offers him an opportunity in the form of a treatment for the Anguish, he must overcome his distrust of Omni-Elementals or be consumed by the ghosts of his past.

With his friends on the run, Teegan hatches a plan to end Matron's reign of terror by exploiting the royal family's hatred of Omnis, so long as he can survive the hostility of the Great City first.
